Attended the
California Military Academy from Jr High through his senior year in high
school. Graduated as Regimental Command Sergeant Major, the highest
enlisted rank at the academy...Unfortunately, his grades were not as high
as his rank and he had to attend a preparatory course before attending
Star Fleet Academy. He struggled academically again in the academy and had
to be placed on Academic Probation until his Junior year at the Academy
when he finally got his academic life together. Finally managed all A's in
his Senior year, except for a C in Astro-Physics. Post graduate work
completed in the fields of security and command. |

Personal History: |
Raised by career Star
Fleet officers, he has know nothing but the Star Fleet way of life. He
hasn't always liked that way of life, though, and he rebelled at a young
age. After numerous acts of rebellion, his parents sent him to the
California Military Academy, both as punishment and encouragement to
pursue a martial career. To a degree, it worked. He took to life as a
cadet very well and excelled in all things military. He struggled
academically, not from lack of intelligence or ability, but from lack of
interest. He was bored in most classes and as a result, didn't apply
himself as much as he could have. Though he excelled as a cadet, there was
still tension at home. He felt his parents had dropped him off at military
school just so they wouldn't have to deal with him themselves. There is
still resentment over this even today. Though it was his parents wish for
Jon to join Star Fleet, it wasn't for that reason that he joined. He
joined for his own personal sense of satisfaction. Serving in Star Fleet
was the opportunity to prove he was his own person and was ready to accept
the responsibility inherent in being a Star Fleet officer. Now, as the
CINC of Star Fleet, he feels confident he has risen to meet that
challenge. |

Hobbies & Past-Times: |
Reading,
Collecting Wine, Martial Arts, and playing the violin. Also collects
bladed weapons though prefers a phaser over a blade. |

Ambitions & Goals: |
To reorganize
Star Fleet into a cohesive, dynamic unit. |

Likes: |
A good book
and an equally good glass of wine. Food. Favorite food is any type of
pasta. Favorite wine: Muscato. Favorite Book: Les Miserables. Enjoys
outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, or anything to do with
nature. |

Dislikes: |
Racists.
Believes a person should be judged by the content of their character and
not by
their race. Has little patience for bigots. Can't stand the taste of
peas. |

Decisive,
usually tactful (except with stupidity), driven to accomplish any tasks
set before him. |

Limitations: |
Not the most
organized person in the galaxy... Has a real problem doing dishes...Thank
God for technology!!! Not a big fan of doing busy work and won't hesitate
to voice his opinion when things aren't going well. |
