History: |
Born twenty-four years ago on a planet that to this day he has not identified, he remembers little of his short life with his family, only that they were the happiest of his life and that he would do anything to get them back. His family was struck down by what some believed to have been Sakuro’s Disease, others the Telurian Plague. For some strange reason, young Deimos was spared, later it was discovered that this was because his real father was the Ambassador of the Elasian people, who were naturally immune to whatever affliction struck down his Klingon family.
A year later he fell victim to a severe case of Rop’ngor, which after many strenuous weeks, he pulled through and survived.
Taken for examinations by Doctors of the Federation, it was from that time onwards that Deimos strode to fulfill his promise to his dying parents, and began his interest in the study of medical sciences.
Due to this he has been known to travel from planet to planet, researching each's inhabitants and their anatomy, medical history and known diseases. He also hopes to write a book on new cures and vaccines for otherwise-thought incurable diseases. Progress on this book is slow, with many an experiment proving unsuccessful.
He also has relating interests in Botany and Pathology, as it is a smaller dream of his to be the first Klingon doctor to examine and diagrammatize a new alien lifeform's body.
Now feeling that he is finally ready to try for Medical Officer aboard one of the Federation's many starships, Deimos had traveled to the Starfleet Academy where he is currently studying. |
