Jaxia was
born into one the most prestigious medical families on Trill. Her father is
an eminent surgeon and her mother was a talented researcher. Her younger
years were spent, when not in lessons, in the outdoors camping and
rock-climbing. At an early age her intelligence was noted and she was
encouraged to continue along the family line of work, medicine. It was her
mother that took her out camping and introduced Jaxia to the sport of
rock-climbing, one of Decra’s favourite pastimes. It was on one such outing,
when Jaxia was 17, that her mother was injured in a fall of over 70 meters.
Being so far away from a communicator, Decra was overcome by her injuries
and died. To this day Jaxia still blames herself for the accident that
killed her mother and has not since been rock-climbing for recreation. In her teenage years, she followed her father around Federation Space to his lectures and other events. She was privately tutored and her academic scores continued to rise. When she was of age, she enrolled in Medical School on Trill. Here she met her best friend, Alexandria. When she reached her 3rd year at Medical School, Jaxia was given the opportunity to join with the Gonal symbiot. In her 5th year in medical school one of her friends committed suicide and this pushed Jaxia into a depressed state. From this state, Jaxia quit Medical school and spent the next 6 months travelling throughout Federation Space until the came to Earth. Those 6 months were spent taking any job to allow her to get enough money together to get to the next planet. She worked on ships, had to fight off gangs and criminals, all manner of dirty things, things that have hardened her personality where she is able to adapt to almost any situation with remarkable speed. Having reached Earth, Jaxia sought the opportunity to join Starfleet and enter the Tactical field. |

| Strengths: | Jaxia is an excellent tactician. It has been noted that “she can see with remarkable clarity where units need to be positioned to do the most damage.” |
| Weaknesses: | Jaxia is always falling for the wrong guy. Even with the added bonus of almost a century of experiences from her symbiont ‘Worm’. |
| Fears: | The memory of her mother falling to this day wakes Jaxia up in the middle of the night. That coupled with some very nasty memories from many planets. |
