Personal History

The small community of Mt Shasta, California has been the home of the Hunter family for centuries. In the age of technology the Hunters pride themselves on their self sufficiency. Living off the land and using nature's resources rather then what could be technologically given has given Sadie a stronger sense of self and the ability to find a solution to most problems without the aid of modern technology.

Growing up Sadie and her family were, and still are, avid outdoor enthusiasts. Kayaking, mountain climbing, camping, rock climbing, hiking...Her dad instilled a strong respect and love for nature in all his children. He taught them survival skills and knowledge of the land passed down from generation to generation. It's through him that Sadie found her love for Natural Sciences.

Once a year Jake would gather his children together and they would choose an extreme place for survival training for three weeks. Sometimes they would travel off Earth and explore another planets although it wasn't often they did so.

During these planetary explorations, Sadie's love for the unknown grew until she was determined to make her living among the stars. While her family supported her decision to join Star Fleet Academy it was not without great sorrow that she left them behind. It was, however, the best decision she could possibly make. She blossomed at the Academy.

Forensic studies captivated her the moment she stepped into the classroom. Solving the puzzle through the examination of the evidence spoke to her in a way natural sciences never would. Here technology ruled. The better the technology the better the chance to solve the puzzle. Sadie excelled in Forensics and graduated at the top of her class.

Natural Sciences have always been her true passion and with two specialties in botany and one in compounds, she rocketed through her classes. The years of survival training and her growing up as she had fast tracked her through many of her courses allowing her to pick of several other area's of study. However it wasn't until she was assigned to the USS Gettysburg that she found her true calling.

Meeting Valeria Ris changed her life in more ways then one. During her first mission she spent a lot of time alone on Ecurai gathering plants and soil samples for study. That is until she got caught up in the kidnapping of a Starfleet Officer. Working with her crew mates and those of the Comet taught her how vastly different the races of the universe were. Having grown up fairly sheltered she hadn't fully grasped the varients of the contradictions.

Due to the pent up fears and frustrations of he lack of knowledge and experience, Sadie found herself in trouble with her emotions. She no longer had the control she once did. Valeria Ris changed all that. They'd become fast friends and during one of their vacations to Vulcan to explore the Osana Caverns, she and Val did a deep mind meld. It was then that they became soul sisters.

The melding of the minds so completely and fully changed Sadie forever. She was now bound to Val in a way not unlike twins. The shared memories and experiences gave her the confidence she lacked. She was back in control of who she was and who she is on her way to becoming.

Personality

Can be prone to letting her emotions get the better of her. Doesn't de stress enough and can be a bit chaotic in her moods.

The Borg and never seeing her family again.
