few people in the galaxy that Tam would drop everything for to aid them

Personal
History: |
Tam was born on the Brikar homeworld as an
only child to his parents who were rarely around. Their jobs kept them busy
and away from home for long stretches of time, but Tam found himself
unconcerned with the fact that he was raised mostly by nannies. It afforded
him the chance to take his own path and decide what he wanted to do with his
life, other than following in the footsteps of his parents. Tam had no
interest in Engineering, or joining the diplomatic corps as his mother had.
He found himself drawn to things that would test him as a person and as a Brikar. While he was proud of the work his parents did, it wasn't something
that physically challenged them on a daily basis. During his school years,
he worked towards a dream of his to join Starfleet and see the galaxy, he
learned all he could about self-defense, Federation procedures, and what was
required to reach Command. Tam wanted to do more and see more than his
parents ever had and as soon as he was old enough, he applied to
Starfleet.
His mother and father were
supportive of his decision, though few Brikars had joined Starfleet, being
somewhat xenophobic and not having a lot of interest in the rest of the
galaxy as a whole. At sixteen he was accepted to
Starfleet Academy and hoped to excel in Security and become COS of a starship. At the
Academy he
showed amazing proficiency in security
training and was assigned to the USS Valley Forge upon graduation. Tam served
aboard the Valley Forge from Midshipman to Lieutenant (JG), then the USS Enterprise-E
until he reached the rank of Lieutenant, then went back to the
Valley Forge as First Officer and briefly was assigned to the USS Gettysburg
before being offered his own command at the rank of Commander. When he was assigned as
Commanding Officer of the USS Titan, Tam had achieved greater rank and responsibility
than he had ever hoped for. He plans to continue to serve with honor and learn to make and keep true friends. |

Not being able to socialize with his
fellow ship mates. Any failures are considered and evaluated greatly to insure
they are never repeated. Loss of away team members on the Titan's Mission to

Tam has never been ill to speak
of, but he spent nearly a week in sickbay healing from a grenade explosion
on the Enterprise-E by a Changeling assassin. |

Strengths: |
Honor, intelligence. His physical
strength is comparative to his size/density/weight. (roughly 50 times stronger than a
human), Very tough hide. Phaser/Disruptor resistant. |

Weaknesses: |
Slow, little agility. Has to wear a
portable gravity compensator in able to move at all in a normal ship's environment.
The compensator is grafted to his lower abdomen so it can be worn under
clothing. |

Fears: |
Tam has a fear of failure. He
considers every mistake his alone to take responsibility for.

Prejudices: |
Feels that enemy races are
untrustworthy. Until proven otherwise, every unknown is to be watched for
duplicity. |

Most Painful Experience: |
During
the Enterprise mission to retrieve the USS Pulsar, there was a feeling of
helplessness to stop the assassins on board from killing members of the
crew. Every tactic they took was met and defeated by the infiltrators. No
matter what they did, they couldn't keep the crew safe. |

Best Time: |
Taking
command of the USS Titan. Becoming a Commanding Officer was the happiest
moment in Tam's life and the culmination of everything he had worked for
since joining Starfleet. |

Most Crucial Experience: |
Becoming First Officer of the USS Valley Forge. When Dan Wueste entrusted
him with a command position, it was the turning point from being 'just' a
Security Officer to becoming a Command Officer in Starfleet.

Model: |
Jean-Luc Picard. Throughout Starfleet history, few Captains have attained
the type of respect and honor that is associated with the name Picard. He is
noted as being a diplomat, a warrior, an explorer and a scientist. He
epitomizes what a Starfleet Officer should be. |
