Born
on Betazed. Lived with his parents, with both his
Betazoid Aunts living nearby. His Father was a Captain on
a Betazoid freighter and his Mother was unemployed while
looking after Travis. Travis did not have an easy life in
his childhood due to serious problems trying to control
the emotions he couldn‚t stop sensing, since he was
only half-Betazoid. When Travis was 12, the city he and
his parents were living in was attacked by some unknown
terrorists. This caused uncomfort for his family so he
and his parents went to live on Earth in South Montana.
There, straight away, Travis‚s Father had the job of
a city-to-city shuttle pilot. When Travis was 16 and
finished his compulsory education on Earth, he went back
to Betazed alone to join the University of Betazed, to
study some of its culture and to help to overcome his
problem with Telepathy. That‚s when his mother had
the job of being a Teacher. After two years of studying
on Betazed, he went back to Earth where he went to
another university when he was 18. There, he studied
Quantum Physics, Advanced Engineering, Maths and a short
course in Computers and Technology. Four years later,
when he was 22, he passed all his exams then decided to
join Starfleet academy. |
